Your Resume

  • Submitting a well thought out child care resume is essential to being considered for representation by Signet Nannies.

    Guidelines to writing your resume:

    1. A – Personal information; full name, address, phone number and e-mail address.

    2. B – Your profile statement that also includes a list of your skills and qualifications. Your skills and qualifications should be in bulleted form.

    3. C – A description of your childcare experience. This should be in chronological order; beginning with the most recent and ending with the oldest. The description should include the name of the family, the city where the position was located, the ages of the children, when you were hired and a thorough description of your job duties and responsibilities. (The description of your job duties and responsibilities can be in bulleted form).

    4. D – Related Experience: This section should include all other professional and volunteer experience. This may or may not be directly related to child care.

    5. E – Education; List your highest level of education. This should include dates attended, degree received or coursework studied. Also, list any special certification you may have.
